Anna M. (Marchese) Burchfield, of Medford, passed away on Saturday, June 3rd. She was 88. Born in Boston and raised in Medford, she was the cherished daughter of the late Rocco and Margaret (Corneilson) Marchese.

Anna was a caring woman who loved her family and friends. She enjoyed traveling throughout New England with her husband Gene. Anna and Gene lived in Weymouth for many years before returning to Medford. She had a long prosperous career as an accountant for an insurance agency up to her retirement. She will be greatly missed by all.

Anna was the beloved wife of the late Eugene “Gene” Burchfield. She was the dear sister of Rocco Marchese and his wife Elaine, Joseph Marchese and his late wife Nancy, RoseMarie Marchese, Jo-Ann Ryan, the late Jerry Marchese and his surviving wife Janet, Josephine Savage and her husband William, David Marchese and his wife Dawn and the late Robert Marchese.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St, Medford, Saturday, June 10th from 9 to 11 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford at 11:30 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
