Lorraine P. DeSimone, age 80, of Medford, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, June 1st. She was the daughter of the late Isadore T. Cervone and Josephine M. (Caliri) Cervone.

Raised in Medford, Lorraine was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. In her younger years, she worked in the Public Works Office in Medford. As her family grew she devoted herself to her children and grandchildren. Lorraine and Richard enjoyed local travel but cherished spending their winters in Boynton Beach, Florida, where they looked forward to visits from family and friends.

The beloved wife of the late Richard A. DeSimone, Lorraine was the devoted mother of Richard A. DeSimone, Jr. of Arizona, Robert M. DeSimone of Billerica, and Steven J. DeSimone of Medford. She was the loving grandmother of Ariana, Stephanie, Samantha, and Michael.

Lorraine’s funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Tuesday, June 6th at 9 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 AM in St. Francis Of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, MA. Services will conclude with Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Visiting hours will be held Monday, June 5th, from 4 - 8 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
