Bovaird, Catherine “Kaye” (Coyle) of Hutchinson Island, Fl, formerly of Mission Hill, passed away peacefully March 3, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Daughter of the late Bridget and Michael Coyle. Loving mother of Joan Bovaird-Dow and her husband Richard of Revere, Robert Bovaird and wife Maurita of Walpole, Rose Garofalo and her husband Vinny of Whitestone NY. Sister of Marion McLoughlin and her husband James of East Sandwich. Predeceased by husband Robert Bovaird, her daughter Michele Bovaird Patterson and her siblings Francis, William, James Coyle and AnnMarie McNally. Devoted Nana to 13 loving grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Lovingly cared for by Roseann Vargus-Pasuy. Kaye retired as a probation officer from the Stoughton Court, a drug and alcohol counselor, with a civic spirit for the community for many years. Her home was always open for all in need. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St. West Roxbury on Thursday, March 9th at 8:30am followed by a Funeral Mass in the Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help “Mission Church” at 10 o’clock. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8pm. Relatives and friends invited. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kaye’s name to Parkinson’s Foundation at parkinson.org.
