Dorothy Marie (Huffman) Fletcher, 105, passed away on March 1, 2023 at Hamilton Trace in Fishers from natural causes.
She was born on December 23, 1917 in Vincennes, IN to Harry and Stella (Evans) Huffman. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School, Vincennes in 1935.
She was employed by Delco Remy for 23 years as a photo developer and retired in 1973. She was very active in her community; a member of St. Matthew United Church in Anderson, a lifelong member of the DAR, and an active member of the Republican Party.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Jacqueline Fletcher of Noblesville; four grandchildren, Jill (husband, Dean) Remington of Owensville, Laura Fletcher of Noblesville, Tyler Fletcher of Indianapolis and Angela of Fishers; one great-grandchild, Ike.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 60 years, Ronald Fletcher; their sons, Larry (wife, Kay) Fletcher and Carl Fletcher; two brothers, Paul and George Huffman and a sister, Helen Hert.
Funeral services will be at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Ned Clark officiating. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to American Cancer Society.
