Rita M. (King) Kerr, age 90, of Taunton, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, February 27, 2023 at Regal Care at Taunton. She was the beloved wife of the late Daniel J. Kerr.
Born in Dighton, MA on October 8, 1932, she was a loving daughter of the late Harold E., Sr. and Valentina (Robak) King.
Rita grew up in Taunton and was a graduate of Taunton High School. She was a dedicated homemaker to her adoring family, whom she loved dearly and was a communicant of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish in Taunton. A resident of Taunton for most of her life, Rita also lived in Florida for sixteen years.
She was the devoted mother of Michael J. Kerr and his wife Linda of Taunton and Mark E. Kerr of Taunton. She was the cherished grandmother of Nicholas J. Kerr of Taunton and great grandmother of Noah, Nalah and Natayla. She was the dear sister of the late Harold E. King, Jr. and Ronald King.
