Ines Catherine (Maietta) Brignolo, age 90, of Medford passed away on Thursday, February 2nd, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House of Danvers. A lifelong Medford resident, she was the daughter of the late Saverio and Catherine (Parziale) Maietta. Family was her life and Ines believed “Food is Love.” She enjoyed cooking for her family and watching them gather around the table to enjoy what she prepared. Ines also loved going to the beach, playing Bingo, and visiting the casino, as well as listening to Italian music, Frank Sinatra, Elvis and Dean Martin.

Ines was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Anthony Brignolo, and the devoted mother of David Brignolo of Medford, and Donna Sepavich and her husband Dennis of Charleston, South Carolina. She was the loving grandmother of Heather Shirkey and her husband Christopher of Berkley, and Albert Brignolo of Medford. Ines was the loving great grandmother of Camden Joseph Brignolo, Charlotte Ann Shirkey, Emilia Grace Shirkey, and Sophia Ines Shirkey. She was the dear sister of Corrine Young and the late Anthony Maietta, Pasqualina Santos, William Maietta, Saverio Maietta, Catherine Maietta, Horace Maietta, Marie Patterson and Richard Maietta. She is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

A funeral will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Wednesday, February 8th, at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with family on Tuesday, February 7th, from 4 through 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
