Teresa Osgood, 70, of Derry, NH passed away January 31, 2023. She was born on October 25, 1952 in Lynn, MA to George Barber and Frances (McKeigue) Barber. Terri, as she was known to family and friends, attended English High and graduated from Marion Court. After having a successful career in Boston, she settled down and started a family with her husband, Paul. Terri was a dedicated wife and mother. She loved her family fiercely and wholeheartedly. She enjoyed working in her gardens and morning walks with her dog, Akasha, while checking in with the neighbors that she valued greatly. She loved to laugh, sharing conversations and stories with her people. Her happy places included spending time at home with her husband and Friday morning breakfasts with the Windham Junction family. She was an avid reader with a passion for learning that extended to studying her ancestry. Her family and where she came from meant very much to her. Terri loved life, armed with her positive attitude and her great sense of humor. She was strong, supportive, accepting, thoughtful, and giving. Terri was known to say, "It is what it is…until someone makes it better. Maybe you can be that someone." She was a beautiful person and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Paul Osgood, her son, Paul E. Osgood and his wife Ainsley, and her daughter, Laura Osgood.
Following cremation, calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM to celebrate her life in the Peabody Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 15 Birch St, Derry. Memorial contributions may be made to NH SPCA, PO Box 196, Stratham, NH 03885
