V. Michael Smith, 55 of Derry, NH died Saturday January 21, 2023 at his home. Mike
was born in Portland, ME, on September 21, 1967, a son of Kelley Rae Smith and the
late Raymond L. Smith. He had resided in Derry for the last two years, formerly living in
Londonderry, NH. Mike worked as a motorcycle mechanic for Twisted Cycles in
Manchester, NH. Michael loved animals, nature and his motorcycles. Michael brought
joy in so many lives. He will leave a big gap in all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his daughter, Danielle Frothingham and her husband Michael of
Sanbornville, NH, one grandson, Everett Frothingham of Sanbornville, his mother,
Kelley Rae Smith of Litchfield, NH, one sister, Laurae Richards and her husband
Howard of Westford, MA, as well as nieces, nephews and cousins. He also left behind
the love of his life Carole Meisel.
Following cremation, calling hours will be held on Saturday February 4, 2023 from 3 –
5pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd.,
Londonderry. A memorial service will be held at 5:00pm in the funeral home.
