LIBERTOWICZ Halina M. (Jankowska) Longtime resident of West Roxbury, formerly of Zyrardow, Poland passed away on January 22, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Stanislaw Libertowicz. Devoted mother of Jolanda (Libertowicz) Cabrillana of West Roxbury. Loving “Babcia” of Yola, Marcela, and Marco Cabrillana all of West Roxbury. Sister of the late Stella Campia and Czeslaw Jankowski.
Halina was a longtime employee of Polaroid Corporation. Halina was a voracious reader; lover of music, old movies and musicals. She enjoyed Polish culture, European history, cooking and baking. Her hobbies included crocheting doilies and playing seamstress for all her grandchildren's costumes.
Visiting hours will be held at the P.E. Murray - F.J. Higgins, George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home 2000 Centre St. West Roxbury on Thursday, January 26th from 4-7pm. Funeral from the funeral home on Friday January 27th at 9:45am, followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 655 Dorchester Ave. Dorchester, at 11am. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.
