Josephine M. (Falzone) Sarcia, of Salisbury, formerly of Medford, passed away on Thursday, January 5th. She was 94. Born in Boston, she was the cherished daughter of the late Biagio and Ramona (Latucca) Falzone.

Josephine loved to take cruises with her husband Joseph. They enjoyed the sunshine in Florida, the green rolling hills in Ireland, and the heavenly views in Sicily. Josephine was a talented seamstress and worked beside her three sisters, Jean, Rose and Theresa, in the garment district in Boston. Besides stitching she also enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Josephine loved to make expectant mothers personalized crocheted baby blanket, booties and jackets. What Josephine was proud of the most was being a Nana to her grandson Jack and great-grandson Jackie, they were her world.

Josephine was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Sarcia. She was the devoted mother of Frank Sarcia and his wife Roxanne, of Salisbury. She was the loving Nana of Jack Sarcia and his wife Jessica, and the caring great-grand Nana of Jackie Sarcia. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. At her family’s request all of Josephine’s services will be private.
