Roger J. Roche, age 89, of Canton passed away January 1st. Born and raised in Canton, he graduated from Canton High School and was a lifelong resident of the town. He worked for many years at Emerson & Cummings as a Shipper & Receiver before retiring. He enjoyed going to the theatre and was a member of several Theatre Groups in Boston. Son of the late Charles and Dorothea Roche. Brother of the late Charles Roche Jr. and Marjorie Poirier. Uncle of Lawrence Roche of Canton, Janice Perry of WI, Paul Roche of Canton, Leonard Roche of Holbrook, Kevin Roche of S. Attleboro, Kathleen Foster of Foxboro, and Thomas Poirier of Foxboro. Funeral Mass at St. Oscar Romero Church, Canton Saturday at 12 noon am. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Saturday morning prior to the mass from 10:30 to 11:30 am. Burial St. Mary’s Cemetery, Canton. | |||||
