Beverly A. Blackler of Sharon passed away December 26th at home. Born in Boston, she was raised in Sharon and graduated from Sharon High School. After raising her children, Beverly worked as an Electrologist from her home office for several years, as a Crossing Guard for the Sharon Public Schools for over 40 years and was a landscape designer. In her free time Beverly enjoyed gardening, photography, antiquing, baking, and spending time with her friends. She was previously a Parishioner and Sunday School Teacher at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Sharon, she was previously an American legion Auxiliary Member, and a former member of the Moose Hill Camera Club.
Beloved wife of the late Albert Blackler. Mother of Jill Modiste and her husband Leo Waters of Sharon and Steven Blackler and his wife Cathy of Walnut, CA. Sister of Richard Fakkel of TX and the late Marie Fakkel. Grandmother of Dennis Gately, Brad Gately, Valerie Shea, Christine Sullivan, Lauren Blackler, Samantha Pederson, and Steven Paul Blackler. Great grandmother of Kylie, Cameron, Aidan, Kaitlyn, Tyler, Ashlyn, Ryan, Mackenzie, Riley, Jessica, Havana, and Willow. Great, great grandmother of Hunter and Olivia. Relatives and friends invited to attend a funeral service at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Friday afternoon at 1:00 pm. Visiting hours Thursday afternoon from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Burial Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
