Obituary

Sasiree Kambhu Cutter, age 81 of Weston, MA, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on December 13, 2022. She was born in Bangkok, Thailand on June 23, 1941 to M.R. Somsamorn Chayangkura and M.L. Chuan Chuen Kambhu. She is survived by her son, John T. Cutter and his wife, Kristie, of Black Mountain, NC; her son, James R. Cutter and his wife, Varang, of Bangkok, Thailand; her daughter, Pimsiree K.C. Bryant and her husband, Matthew, of Hopkinton, NH; as well as her eight loving grandchildren, Cole and Sydney Cutter, JJ and Jenna Cutter, and Somer, Piya, Kally and Ray Bryant. She was predeceased by her brother, Tirachai Kambhu.

Sas moved to the United States at age six and grew up in Washington, DC and Great Neck, NY. She graduated from the Knox School and went on to Wheaton College. Soon after, she moved to Wayland and then to Weston, where she raised her children and lived for the rest of her life.

Sas had a successful career as a real estate broker and won many accolades. Over the years she was a member of many professional and volunteer organizations and clubs, through which she made many dear friends. She was a patron of both performing and fine arts, and was an avid reader. She was active and played tennis and golf, but most of all enjoyed walking her beloved dogs. Following fashion was a favorite pastime; she was always chic and in style. She traveled extensively and visited countries all over the world, including annual trips to see family in Thailand. She also enjoyed spending time on Cape Cod in the summers, in West Falmouth and Dennis Port.

Sas treasured her many loving, lifelong friends, as well as her large extended family. She adored her dogs, but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. She was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
