Paul Ervin Hennigan, 88, of Oak View, CA, passed away on November 30, 2022, in Ojai, CA. Paul was born in Gainesville, TX, to Richard and Margaret Hennigan on May 1, 1934. He graduated from Oxnard High School in 1952. He married Aldine Howard, his wife of 65 years, in 1957.
Paul was a model husband and father, who enjoyed fishing, camping, BBQ's, scuba diving and running. He was a devout and lifelong Catholic, as well as a long-time member of the Knights of Columbus. Paul served in the army for two years, was a systems analyst for 33 years at Port Hueneme, and owned and operated Hennigan's Pizza House for over 20 years.
Paul is survived by his wife Aldine, his children Kathleen, Mark, David, Karen, Marilyn, Joseph, Patrick, Timothy, Christopher and Erin, his siblings Aurealia, Kenneth, Mary, John and Evelyn, his sister-in-law Bonnie, his brother-in-law Marvin, as well as 35 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild. He is preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Ann, and his siblings David, Clifford, Margie and Dorothy.
Paul will be missed deeply and always by those who knew him, especially his family. Please join the Hennigan family in praying for the repose of his soul and all the faithful departed.
Funeral services will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Church on December 10 at 10:00am, preceded by the rosary at 9:30am. Arrangements are under the direction of the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, Ventura.
