FALL RIVER … Carmelo Fontanez Montanez, 62, of Fall River passed away, Sunday, November 20, 2022, at home.
He was born in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico a son of the late Carmelo Fontanez and the late Virginia Montanez and had lived 3 years in Fall River.
Survivors include 4 sons: Ramone Fontanez of Springfield; Carmelo Fontanez of Kansas City, KS; Luis Fontanez and Edwin Fontanez, both of Springfield; 5 brothers: Victor Fontanez; Ivan Davila both of Springfield; Pedro Ortiz; Lucas Ortiz both of Puerto Rico; 3 sisters: Maria Isbel Fontanez of Fall River; Maria Virginia Fontanez of Puerto Rico; Ivette Fontanez of Springfield; 15 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Saturday at SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River at 6:00 P.M. following calling hours from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.
