Susan L. (Allen)Tambolleo
On Saturday, October 1, 2022 Susan Lynn Tambolleo of Charlton, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, at the age of 71.
Susan was born in Perth, New Brunswick, Canada on April 26, 1951, and her family later settled in Marlboro, MA. She is predeceased by her parents, Dorothy R. (Smith)Andrews and Dale E. Allen.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 54 years, Dominic W. Tambolleo. Susan and Dominic were soulmates, best friends, and the light of each other's lives. She is also survived by her three loving daughters: Nikki Bennett and her husband David of Dracut, MA, Melissa Raymond and her husband Michael of Ridgefield CT, and Allison Tambolleo of Woodstock, CT. Susan is also survived by nine grandchildren: Kyle, Rachel, Thomas, Jack, Sarah, Paige, Chase, Faith, and Olivia, and one great-grandchild: Dominic. Her grandchildren and great-grandchild were her loves, and her pride for them was beyond measure. She adored them and they adored her- their beautiful Mimi.
Susan is also survived by her siblings: Sharon Seymour (husband Philip) of Old Orchard Beach, ME, Christine Buxton(deceased husband Gary) of Apollo Beach, FL, and Dale Timothy Allen (wife Mary) of Burnsville, NC.
She also has numerous extended families of cousins, nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews whom she loved and cherished.
Susan worked for years in the Charlton Schools in the cafeteria. She loved her family above all else, and enjoyed spending time surrounded by her family, talking, laughing, singing and dancing. Susan and Nick took many trips and vacations through the years, but her favorite place to go was Las Vegas. She also loved home decorating and had a real passion for jewelry.
Visitation will be Friday, October 7, 2022 from 5 to 7 PM at the ROBERT J.MILLER-CHARLTON FUNERAL HOME, 175 Old Worcester Rd. Charlton .
There will be a private graveside service on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Westridge Cemetery in Charlton.
In lieu of flowers she would like donations to be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or Brigham and Women’s Hospital, 75 Francis St, Boston MA 02115.
