Peter V. McKenna of Quincy passed away September 15th. He was born and raised in Canton, Peter attended St. John’s School in Canton and Canton High School. Son of the late Daniel H. and Marion T. (Kessler) McKenna. He is survived by his brother Philip of Canton. Brother of the late Alfred Carl McKenna of Canton and the late Daniel of Boston. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Peter worked as general cashier at the old Fairmont Copley Plaza which later became the Boston Copley Marriott. Peter worked the overnight shift in AYS prior to his retirement. He was a Charter Associate with 35 years of service upon his retirement. According to his GM Peter was a gentle soul and talented artist. He was a wonderful man and loved his cat Millie and had a great fondness for painting. Peter enjoyed painting and when he retired he gave a couple of his paintings to the front office of the hotel.
