Jose Magallanes Jr. "Toky" 37 of Ventura, California passed away on August 15, 2022 in Ventura. Jose was born in Ventura, CA to Maria Huizar from Nayarit, Mexico and Jose Maria Magallanes from Nayarit, Mexico on June 1, 1985. He went to Buena High School. He enjoyed playing football in the Junior Varsity team and also the Ventura Packers.
Jose is survived by his girlfriend Angela Cobos, of Oxnard; his 3 children: Isaiah Magallanes, Dalilah Castro, Karina Aguilera, of Ventura; 3 siblings: Christian Magallanes, Ana Magallanes, and Jorge Magallanes, of Ventura; parents: Maria Emeria Huizar and Jose Maria Magallanes, of Nayarit, Mexico; 9 nieces and nephews: Jude Highstreet, Christian Magallanes, Jr, Destiny Muñoz, Benicio Magallanes, Abagail Magallanes, Jorge Magallanes Jr, Lilianna Magallanes, Bella Magallanes. Agustin Munoz Jr, all of Ventura CA. He is preceded in death by his son, Jose Ines Solis Magallanes.
Jose was a man with the heart of gold; he impacted so many people's lives. He was the kind of guy to put everything aside to help others. He was loving, respectful, and kind. Jose had a smile that would light up the room. No matter where he went, he was loved.
Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Thursday, September 1, 2022 from 4pm-8pm at the BOYKO & REARDON TELEGRAPH ROAD MORTUARY & CREMATION - 15 Teloma Dr. Ventura CA 93003. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 2, 2022 at 12pm in the Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to BOYKO & REARDON TELEGRAPH ROAD MORTUARY & CREMATION - 15 Teloma Dr. Ventura CA 93003.
