Flaherty, Susan Rose of Ware, MA formerly of West Roxbury. Age 65. It is with heavy hearts that we announce that on August 18, 2022, Susan Rose Flaherty, our beautiful angel, has gone peacefully to Heaven. She was our miracle, a beautiful soul with a vibrant spirit. Beloved daughter of the late Michael J. and Marion (Sweet) Flaherty. Granddaughter of Bea Sweet. Loving sister of Michael and his wife Kathy, Marie and her husband Steven Giordano, Beth and husband Walter Janovich, Paul, Robert, Christopher and wife Valerie and the late Karen. Susan is also survived by her aunt Ann Mulkern and many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family wishes to express our deep and heartfelt gratitude to all of Sue’s caretakers through her years at Monson State Hospital, at her group home at 4 Wildflower Dr. in Ware and at Bay State Hospital, thanks to whose efforts and love Susan enjoyed high quality of life throughout her years there.
Visiting hours at the P.E. Murray-F.J. Higgins, George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 2000 Centre Street, West Roxbury, on Thursday, August 25, from 9:30am-11am followed by a funeral Mass in St. John Chrysostom Church, West Roxbury at 11:30am.
