Obituary

Anthony T. Robinson, 55, of Fall River, formerly of Brockton, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 13, 2022. He was the husband of Adriana M. (Valenzuela) Robinson. They would have celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary this year and were together for 25 years.

Born in Boston, he was the son of Pauline (White) Robinson and the late Charles E. Robinson.

Anthony graduated from Brockton High School and served proudly in the Massachusetts Army National Guard as a cook and a cannoneer.

Affectionately known to many as “Boss”, he worked as a Chef in the restaurant industry for many years. His wife often called him the “Mayor” due to his outgoing and friendly personality towards everyone. He often said he was a “Jack of all trades, master of none” and was always happy helping others. He was an avid fisherman, and often went both salt and freshwater fishing with his wife. Anthony enjoyed planting and gardening and listening to old school rap.

In addition to his loving wife Adriana and his loyal dog Teddy, he leaves two sons, Michael A. Robinson-Lawson (wife Hannah) of West Dennis and Dennis J. Umbrello (wife Sarah) of Middleboro; two brothers, Charles E. Robinson, and Tyrone E. Robinson; three grandchildren, MJ, Mia, and Marlee; nephews, Charles and Charon and niece Chaylssa; his mother in law, Carol J. Valenzuela and sister in law, Liliana M. Valenzuela.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Anthony’s family on Sunday, August 28, 2022, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton. Military honors will be rendered at the conclusion of the visiting hours. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Anthony's memory may be made to the National MS Society, PO Box #91891, Washington, D.C. 20090.
