Mary (Correia) Roderick, 87, of Westport, passed away on Monday, August 8, 2022 at the New Bedford Jewish Convalescent Home. She was the wife of the late Raymond J. Roderick.
Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Joseph E. and Mary (Correia) Correia, she had lived in Westport for 60 years. She was a Communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport. Mrs. Roderick was a homemaker and enjoyed singing country music, playing the guitar and piano, drawing, crosswords and sewing.
Survivors include 2 daughters: Deborah J. Roderick of Westport and Lori A. Roderick-Hadfield of New Bedford; 3 grandchildren: Rory D. Hadfield, Ian J. Nunes and Brendan S. Hadfield; a brother: Raymond Correia of Westport; 3 sisters-in-law: Agnes Correia, Marianna Correia and Rose Correia; and several nieces and nephews.
She was sister of the late Everett Correia, Joseph Correia, Louis Correia, Evelyn Correia, Ramona Correia and Theresa Brett.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Friday, August 12, 2022 at the Potter Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport at 11:00 A.M.
Calling hours Thursday 5 - 8 P.M.
Interment in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
