FALL RIVER…Cheryl A. (Paiva) Rego, 62, of Fall River passed away July 22, 2022 at Charlton Memorial Hospital.
Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Carol Paiva. She had lived in Fall River for most of her life.
She was the loving companion of Stanley Botelho with whom she had spent the past 14 years. They were inseparable.
Cheryl held many careers throughout her life, having last worked with the Flint Senior Center in Fall River. The only thing she loved more than singing was sending time with her family and friends. She could be found frequenting karaoke bars across the country in her travels with Stanley, singing and dancing to her hearts content. She also loved playing the slots and more recently craps. She enjoyed spending time in Las Vegas and Reno, reading and knitting.
Along with her companion, survivors include her children: Kristin Carpenter of Fall River, David Gosciminski of Bristol, RI, Brenton Gosciminski of Tiverton, RI, Scott Paiva of Fall River and Ian Rego of Newburyport, MA; her grandchildren: Caleb, Connor and Ava; and many friends.
