HOLYOKE – Dennis W. Clark, 68, of Holyoke, was Called Safely Home on Monday, July 25, 2022. He passed into Eternal Life at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield surrounded by the care and comfort of his loving family. He was born in Montpelier, Vermont on August 8, 1953, a beloved son of the late Floyd G. Clark, Sr. and Roberta (Lahue) Clark. He was raised in Holyoke, graduated from Holyoke High School and was a lifelong resident of the city. He was employed as a Machinist at the Brown Paper Company in Holyoke. His passion in life was being out on the open road riding his motorcycle. Most of all, he enjoyed the company of his four feline friends, his cats, Meippe, Salem, Golden and Tangie. He leaves his dear and devoted siblings, Floyd G. Clark, Jr. of Chicopee, June E. Jones of South Hadley, Maureen T. Hart and her husband, Richard, of Serasota, FL and James M. Clark of Chicopee; his three cherished nephews, John Jones, David Jones and his wife, Shannon, and Matthew Clark; his two cherished nieces, Wendy Naslund and Amber Clark; and his many cherished grandnephews, grandnieces, cousins, numerous friends and extended family members. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his twin brother, Dean W. Clark who was Called Home on June 21, 2021; his dear brother-in-law, Eddie M. Jones, Jr. who was Called Home on March 6, 1996; and his dear nephew, Deacon Clark. His family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, (413-532-9806), 13 Dale Street, Chicopee MA 01020. The parking lot and main entrance of the funeral home are located in the rear at 20 Lafayette Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. His Burial will follow the Service at Fairview Cemetery, 47 Fanjoy Drive, Chicopee, MA 01020.
