Marie L. (Wilson) Aranjo Perdue, age 81, a lifelong resident of Taunton, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 25, 2022 at the Morton Hospital in Taunton. She was the former wife and special friend of Joseph Perdue and the former wife of the late James Aranjo.
Born in Taunton, MA on January 28, 1941, she was a loving daughter of the late Albert and Rosamond (Butler) Wilson.
Marie grew up and was educated in Taunton. She worked for twenty-two years as a press operator at the former Texas Instruments in Attleboro.
Marie’s family was the essence of her life. She was a communicant of the former Saint Paul’s Church in Taunton, a forty year volunteer of Bristol County 4-H Clubs, a former Girl Scout Leader and enjoyed camping,
Marie volunteered her time with the American Cancer Society. Her hobbies included bowling, car rides to Cape Cod, taking in the beauty of the Cape Cod Canal and especially Thursday game nights and get-togethers with her sisters and cousin, Cynthia.
She is survived by her devoted daughters: Deborah Bussiere of Woodland, Maine, Donna Ryan and her spouse Tammy of Taunton, Doreen Adams and her spouse David of East Taunton and Deana Andrade and her spouse Paul of Taunton. She was the dear sister of Shirley Higgins, Alberta Rose and Lorraine Dugan, all of Taunton. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren: David, Natasha, Dori, Zane, Brian, Emerald, Paul Jr. and Hailey; great grandchildren; Shane, Korey, Lily, Colten, Sylas and Easton as well as her loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, August 9th from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp Street (Off Route 140, Taunton Avenue) Norton.
Prayers will be offered on Tuesday evening during the visiting hours at 7:30 P.M. in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
