FALL RIVER … Denise F. (Fluker) Bailey, 64, of Fall River passed away Monday, July 4, 2022, at St. Anne’s Hospital.
Born in Newark, New Jersey, daughter of Tommy Lee and Ella B. (Davis) Fluker, Ms. Bailey resided in Fall River since 1989, mostly as an active member and staple in her Fordney Street community where she resided for 22 years.
While working two jobs to taking care of her family, she maintained an open door for anyone in the community who needed a helping hand or place to stay. She enjoyed cooking, dressing up, music, dancing, reality tv, and scratch tickets.
Denise is survived by her 2 sons: Joseph Bailey and Bobby Bailey both of Fall River, MA; 3 daughters: Unee Washington of Brookline, MA, Terica Bailey of Charlotte, N.C., and Davonda Fluker of Fall River, MA; 3 brothers: Timothy Fluker of Boston, MA, Robert Fluker of Newark, NJ, and Wayne Fluker; 2 sisters: Annette S. Grant of Georgia and Diane Fluker of Boston, MA. Denise also had 7 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of late Darryl Fluker, Tommy Fluker, Betty Jordan, Mary Williams, and Gail Fluker.
Denise’s services, to which relatives and friends are invited, will be held Monday, July 11, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at the SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant St., Fall River, MA following the calling hours 9:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. that morning.
