PLAZA, Maria D. (Carcana) of Dorchester passed away peacefully on June 25, 2022. Born in Aquadilla, Puerto Rico the daughter of the late Pedro and Ramona (Rodriguez) Carcana. Beloved wife of the late Marcelino Plaza. Loving mother of Sonia Benejan and her husband Antonio of Lowell, Frank Plaza of Dorchester and the late Eddie Plaza. Cherished Abuela of Dianna Nino and her husband and Jessi Benejan and Great-Abuela of Gabriel and Elena Nino. Dear sister of Nori, Marisol, Chaida, Elena, Pedro, Berto, Efrain, Pipe and the late Pito and Felix. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours in the William J.
