BOLY Jean Marie (Connolly) RN, Longtime resident of West Roxbury, passed away on June 3, 2022. Honoring her memory, 43 years of marriage and a life long partnership spanning 50 years, is her husband, Raymond E. Boly. Jean was the cherished mother of Raymond Boly and his fiancé Alyssa of Avon, Nicholas Boly and his wife Elizabeth of West Roxbury, and Jessica Louise Boly of Dedham. Loving grandmother of Margaret, Maddison, Nolan, and Benjamin. Beloved daughter of the late Edward P. Connolly (BFD, Aid to the Commissioner) and Mary Louise (Nilan) Connolly, RN. She will be dearly missed by many nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and nephews.
Jean devoted her life to the compassionate care of others, and will be remembered by the many lives she touched, most notably during her time as a registered nurse at Brigham & Women’s Hospital for 35 years, and countless others throughout her career.
Visiting hours will be held at the P.E. Murray - F.J. Higgins, George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home 2000 Centre St. West Roxbury on Wednesday, June 8th from 4-8pm. Funeral from the funeral home on Thursday, June 9th at 9am, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. John Chrysostom Church at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Jean's memory to Dana-Farber Cancer Research Institute, 44 Binney St., Boston, MA 02215.
