Lorene F. Pirello, 71, of Derry, NH, died Saturday May 14, 2022 in her home. She was born in Cambridge, MA on March 5, 1951, a daughter of the late John and Adele (Castriota) Callahan. Having been a resident of Derry for 36 years, she formerly lived in Medford, MA, and was a graduate of North Reading High School in Reading, MA, Class of 1969. Lorene had been employed as the Town Clerk in Derry for several years. In her younger years, she enjoyed equestrian riding and was a member of the 4H Club where she had competed in many events. Lorene loved quilting and enjoyed meeting with the "posse" at "Aunt Mary's".
She is survived by her husband Guy J. Pirello, Sr. of Derry; two sons, Guy J. Pirello, Jr., and Nicholas A. Pirello, both of Derry; as well as her granddaughter, Samantha A. Pirello of Derry.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 19th from 5 - 7pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A Catholic prayer service will be held towards the close of calling hours.
