Amir Bahremand, 66, of Londonderry, NH, died Wednesday May 11, 2022, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 3, 1956 in Kerman, Iran, a son of the late Mahmood and Akhtar (Rashidi) Bahremand. Amir attended Wentworth Tech, where he studied aeronautical engineering and received his Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He worked for many years as a mechanical design engineer, retiring in 2006 from Brooks Automation. Amir had a zest for life. He loved playing cards, barbequing for friends, and having parties. He also enjoyed spending time at their camp on Frye Island in Maine. Most of all, Amir loved to spend time with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Lois (Celata) Bahremand of Londonderry; one daughter, Shereen Bahremand and her late partner Allison, of Maine; one son, Ali Bahremand and his girlfriend Maria and her daughter Aubrey, of Boca Raton, FL; five siblings, Eraj and wife Sona, Mohamed and wife Kea, Mehdi and wife Manaz, Reza and Mahine all of Iran; his brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Cheryl of Londonderry, NH, and Mark and Kim, of Tyngsborough, MA; as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. While he did not have any grandchildren, he often thought of his great nephews Vincent, Luka and Seamus as his grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, May 15, 2022 from 12 – 3 pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry with funeral services to begin at 2:30pm in the funeral home. A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 16, 2022 at 11:00am in the Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, 185 Lake St., Peabody, MA.
