Jeanne M. (Barnabe) Tubman, 80, of Fall River, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Catholic Memorial Home. She was the wife of Bruce Tubman.
Mrs. Tubman was born in Fall River, daughter of the late Ovila and Aurora (Ringuette) Barnabe and had resided in the Westport and Fall River areas for most of her life. Prior to her retirement, she worked as an X-Ray technician for the former Union Hospital. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors along with her husband include her son: David C. Gizzi and his wife Margot of Westport; her sister: Pauline Hickey of Swansea; 2 brothers: Gerald Barnabe of Wilton Manors, FL, and Claude Barnabe of Westport; 2 grandchildren: Kristin Gizzi and her wife Rita of Westport and Karin Gizzi and her wife Becky of Lakeville; 5 great grandchildren: Hailey, Tristan, Nolan, Quinnlyn and Averi; along with several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Claire Lemay.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at the Potter Funeral Home at 10:30 A.M.
Visitation will be Tuesday, from 9-10:30 A.M. prior to the service.
Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
