WHITCHER Robert S. Longtime resident of West Roxbury, formerly of Jamaica Plain, passed away on May 3, 2022. Beloved life partner of Louise M. Turgeon. Devoted father of Belinda Morrill and her husband Michael of West Roxbury. Loving grandfather of Brett, Brooke, and Bryce Morrill. Brother of Brenda Lindemann of Vermont. Also survived by many nieces, and nephews.
Robert proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the New England Carpenters Union Local 67.
Visiting hours will be held at the P.E. Murray - F.J. Higgins, George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home 2000 Centre St. West Roxbury on Friday, May 6th from 3-7pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, May 7th at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment Mt. Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury.
