Steven D. Charron, age 63, of Mansfield, passed away unexpectedly, yet peacefully at home on Saturday, April 30, 2022. He was the husband of Donna J. (Purpura) Charron, to who he was wed for forty-one years.
Born in Batavia, New York on October 25, 1958, he was a son of Kathryn (Brown) Charron of Walpole and the late George R. Charron.
Steve grew up in Walpole and was a graduate of Walpole High School. He had made his home in Mansfield for the past thirty-seven years and previously worked as an Auto Body Technician at K & D Auto Body in Mansfield.
Steve enjoyed spending time with his family, had a special place in his heart for the dogs that adorned his house throughout the years and will be remembered for his ability to build or fix anything around his home.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his children: Sarah Charron and her partner Matthew Naughton of San Diego, California, Katie Charron of Portland, Maine and Eric Charron and his partner Lynn Pacheco of Seekonk. He was the brother of Brenda Charron Cortina of Chicopee, Sandra Charron Charette and her husband John of Walpole and is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend his graveside funeral service on Wednesday, May 4th at 10:00 A.M. at Saint Mary’s Cemetery, 1 Franklin Street, Mansfield.
Visiting hours are omitted and those wishing may remember Steven with a donation in his memory made to Food and Friend, care of, Mansfield Baptist Church, 52 North Main Street, Mansfield, MA 02048.
