EVERETT— Federico Bruno, 89, passed away peacefully in Everett on April 25, 2022 surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born in Santurce, PR on June 12, 1932 the son of the late Daniel Bruno and the late Providence Rivera. Known to most as Freddy, his fondest memories from his youth were his time spent in Santurce, PR dancing to salsa. He truly loved his work and customers, he was a bartender for many years in Puerto Rico, California and Boston.

Freddy lived life to the fullest. He was a true lover of God, a passionate lover of salsa, and he filled our house and his soul with music. He traveled to and lived in many places throughout his lifetime. Those who knew him will remember him for his keen mind, his sense of humor and his generosity. But most of all, for his thoughtfulness and his never-ending love. He will truly be missed.

He is survived by his late daughter, Aileen Bruno of CA, a son, Eric Bruno. His seven siblings are sister, Nerine Vasquez, sister, Carmen Vasqez, brother, Fidel Bruno, brother, Manuel Bruno, sister, Milagra Bruno, sister, Felicita Pabon, brother, Jose Vasquez. In spirit, his cousins, Energica Vasquez, Carmen Robles, Zulma Segui Marc, Deborah, Kimberly Coffiner, Raul Vasquez, Joan Vasquez, Benjamin Vasquez all of NY. His sweetheart Magaly Mendez of Boston, MA.

His care team: Janet Pabon, Mari Luna and Veronica Hurd and Beacon Hospice Nurses got the fortune of caring for the last legacy of the Brunos. Gone but never forgotten.

Visiting hours at the Brady & Fallon Funeral Home 10 Tower St. (Opp. Forest Hills MBTA Station) Jamaica Plain on Wednesday April 27 from 5-7 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
