MORGAN, Joseph F. “Joe” of West Roxbury, formerly of Jamaica Plain passed away peacefully at home after a brief illness on April 16, 2022. Beloved husband of Maryellen (Madden) with whom he shared 45 years of marriage. Loving father of Paula Cucinotta and her husband Cosimo of Dedham. Devoted “Papa Joe” to Joseph and Jack. Born in Boston, Joe was the son of late John F. and Anna M., brother of Barbara Connelly of FL, the late John T., George E., James C., Anna (Maglione), Joan (Levitin). Proud Navy Veteran who served during WWII (U.S.S. Todd and U.S.S. Huntington). Upon leaving the Navy, Joe worked for the MBTA for 46 years, retiring as a buyer for the Materials Dept.
Visiting hours Wednesday, April 27th, Gormley Funeral Home 2055 Centre St. West Roxbury, from 4-8 p.m. Funeral from the funeral home on Thursday, April 28th at 9 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Theresa Church at 10 o'clock. Interment MA National Cemetery, Bourne, Friday, April 29th at 12:30 p.m.
