Florence D. McLaughlin (Dingwell) of Canton passed away April 14th at the Ruth McLain Hospice House in Braintree. Born in Boston, she was raised in Dorchester and graduated from Hyde Park High School. She was an active member of the Congregational Church of Canton where she ran the Knitting Table at the church fair for many years. Florence enjoyed walking, reading, knitting, and going to Nantasket Beach. Beloved wife of the late Frank W. Mother of Stephen McLaughlin and his wife Maureen of Westwood, John McLaughlin and his wife Lynne of Foxboro, and Karen McLaughlin of Canton. Grandmother of Brendan, Catherine, James, Nicholas, Callie, and Rachel McLaughlin. Great grandmother of Ben and Emmy McLaughlin. Also survived by her twin sister Dorothy White of Rockland and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are private.
