Mardirosian Robert M., 87, of Falmouth, formerly of Watertown, passed away on April 1, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Madeline (Seferian) Mardirosian for 67 years. Devoted father of Andrea Barber and her husband David, David Mardirosian and the late Marc Mardirosian. Loving grandfather of Elizabeth Benchoff, Lindsay and her husband Lt. Col. Neal Byrne, Christopher, David and Matthew Barber, Zachary, Ella and Jacob Mardirosian. Cherished great grandfather of Ava and Aiden Byrne.
Brother of the late Fred Mardirosian and his late wife Joan. Brother-in-law of Julie Ganjian and the late George Ganjian, Lucy Aylaian and the late Warren Aylaian and Ann Seferian and the late Edward Seferian. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graduate of Watertown High School class of 1952, Calvin Coolidge College and Portia (New England) School of Law. He was an accomplished criminal defense lawyer as well as an artist, sculptor, raconteur and musician.
Funeral service at Holy Cross Armenian Catholic Church, 200 Lexington Street, Belmont on Friday, April 8 at 11:00 a.m. Visiting hours will be held at the Church from 10:00 – 11:00, immediately prior to the funeral service. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Holy Cross Armenian Catholic Church. Interment at Mount Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.
