Joyce A. (DeCoff) Dupuis, 78, of Salem, passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, at the Life Care Center of the North Shore in Lynn on Saturday, March 26, 2022. She was the loving wife of the late Wiifred J. Dupuis and she was also the wife of the late J.B. Hinson.
Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Thomas W. and Jeannette M. (Dufour) DeCoff. Known as Joycee, she was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was also a well known fixture at Red’s Sandwich Shop in Salem where she was employed for over 51 years. She will be remembered for her great sense of humor, laugh and welcoming personality She later married her best friend Wilfred with whom she spent her happiest years. Joycee loved her yearly trips to Las Vegas and meeting up with family members where they all had a great time together. Joycee was one of a kind and touched the lives of all she knew.
She is survived by her daughters, Karen A. Reno and husband Robert of West Brookfield, Robin M. Vassiliadis of Lynn, and Stephanie A. Flynn and husband Damian of Salem. She also leaves her grandchildren, Nicole Vassiliadis, Jillian & Damian Flynn as well as her stepchildren, Wilfred R. Dupuis and wife Barbara of Epping, NH and Arlene Dean of Salem, in addition to many step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her husbands J.B. and Wilfred, she was predeceased by brothers, Ronald & Roy Decoff, granddaughter Aspacia Vassiliades, and step-children, Eva Miller, Dorothy Dion and Terry Torelli.
