Carole (Conlon) Coakley passed away on February 25, 2022. She was 88 years old.
Born and raised in Malden, Carole was a graduate of Malden High School Class of 1952. She loved winters in Cocoa Beach, FL, her Irish Cottage on Cape Cod and the Red Sox. But most of all she loved family gatherings and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Carole was the married to the late John P. Coakley, her loving husband of 65 years. She was the beloved mother of June DiGiammerino and her husband Gary of Tewksbury, John Coakley and his wife Diane of Billerica and Lynn Troisi and her husband Paul of Billerica. Carole was the sister of the late June Berberich of California and the cherished grandmother of 10 grandchildren; Jill, Janelle, Mark, Jenna, Caitlin, Lauren, Brittney, Nicholas, Ashlyn and Matthew and 3 great-grandchildren; Ellie, Avie and Lucas.
Visiting hours will be held at the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Tuesday, March 1st from 4-7pm. A service will be held at the funeral home at 7pm during the visitation. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be private.
