LOGAN, James P. of West Roxbury, December 24, 2021 at Hellenic Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Beloved son of the late James F. and Nora Logan. Brother of Mary Jane. Cousin of Bernie Logan and Jack Coleman.
Jimmy was a lifelong resident of West Roxbury and member of Holy Name Parish. He graduated from Boston Latin School and Boston College. His main activities and interests were related to sports. He played tennis several times a week. He was an avid follower of the Bruins and Celtics and never forgot the Boston Braves particularly their shortstop, Johnny Logan.
After retiring from his job with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, he found the job he loved working at TD Garden where he had previously worked part time. He made many new and long lasting friendships there and at the time of his death was the employee of longest standing.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 18th in Holy Name Lower Church, 1689 Centre St. West Roxbury at 11 o’clock. Relatives and friends invited.
