Rivoli B. (Tobin) Gambale
1/5/2022

Rivoli Barbara Gambale (Tobin) was born on May 3, 1937 to Rosemary and Louis Tobin. She graduated from Jeremiah E. Burke High school then attended Mt. Ida College where she received a secretarial degree. She married Alfred J. Gambale January 3, 1960 and moved to Medford. She had two children Rosalie Moschitto and Joseph Gambale.

Rivoli and Al lead a simple life together for 37 years until his death on August 31, 1998. They loved their Friday night bowling leagues then always a late night at Carrols Diner. After Al died Rivoli spent many hours with her friends at Mikes Gym. No one was sure how much she worked out but she was the Unclaimed Mayor and found great enjoyment in helping everyone with their social life. She cared for her children and took care of her home. She drove her children to band and Color guard practice and always there to drive everyone else’s kids as well.

She became a home health aide in the mid 80’s when her children were in high school and continued working until she was 73. Her clients and their families adored her because she not only cared for all their needs with compassion but she made deep connections with them and their families. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren Maryrose and Michael Moschitto.
Whenever “Nana” came over there you would always hear lots of laughter. Rivoli will be deeply missed by all her friends and family. She is finally at peace at home.

Rivoli was the beloved wife of the late Alfred Gambale. She was the devoted mother of Rosalie Moschitto and her husband Dan Glover and Joseph Gambale. She was the loving Nana of Maryrose and Michael Moschitto.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with the family on Friday, January 21st from 4 to 6 PM at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, followed by a funeral service celebrated in the funeral home at 6 PM.
