Arthur R. Balduf, Jr., age 85, of Foxboro, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. He was the beloved husband of Janice M. (Johnson) Balduf, to whom he was wed for sixty-three years.
Born in Norwood, MA on May 29, 1936, he was a loving son of the late Arthur R., Sr. and Mary G. (Eppich) Balduf.
Arthur grew up in Norwood and was a 1954 graduate of Norwood High School. He had made his home in Foxboro for the past sixty-three years and prior to retiring, worked for many years as a Union Carpenter. He loved spending time with his family, was a member of the Taunton Gun Club and enjoyed woodworking and making furniture.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his devoted daughters: Sandra Peavey and her husband Kevin of East Taunton and Karen D’Olimpia and her husband Lenny of Carver. He was the cherished grandfather of Shawn Peavey and his wife Amanda of Seekonk, Barret D’Olimpia of Carver and Tessa Rae D’Olimpia of Carver. He was the dear brother of the late Evelyn Costello, Gretchen MacDonald, Bertha Wells, and is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Services and burial are private and visiting hours have been omitted.
