Sharon M. (Baird) Rounds, age 64, of West Bridgewater, formerly of Brockton, died December 1, 2021 at Good Samaritan Medical Center following a brief illness. Sharon was the loving wife of Bradford M. Rounds for 36 years. Born in Providence, RI, she was the daughter of the late Clinton A. and Mary (Brearley) Baird. Raised in Johnston, RI. Sharon was a graduate of Johnston High School.
Sharon had a strong faith and was an active member of Trinity Baptist Church involved in Bible Study and the worship team. She had a real heart for women’s ministry. She was selfless, caring and extremely empathetic to others. Sharon enjoyed taking care of her family, singing, playing her keyboard, and reading her Bible.
In addition to her husband, Sharon is also survived by her son Timothy Rounds and his wife Jessica of Mansfield. She was the sister of John J. Baird, Sr. and his wife Rebecca of Oklahoma; Charles Baird of Warwick, RI; Sandra Wood and her husband Steven of Cranston, RI and the late Richard A. Baird. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Following her burial at South Middleboro Cemetery on Thursday, December 30, a Memorial Service will be held at Trinity Baptist Church, 1367 Main Street, Brockton at 11:30am. In lieu of flowers, the family would gratefully appreciate a memorial contribution made in Sharon’s name to one of the following organizations or ministries:
