Elaine M. Borriello, age 87, of Medford, passed away peacefully following a period of declining health at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, Saturday, December 11, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank A. Borriello. Born in Boston she was the daughter of the late John and Mildred (DeCristoforo) McIntire.

Elaine was raised and educated in Boston's North End. She was a graduate of Fisher Junior College earning her degree as a Medical Secretary. Following her graduation, Elaine worked for a number of years as a secretary in health care prior to her marriage and starting her family. Elaine and Frank settled in Medford shortly after their marriage and have been Medford residents ever since. Elaine was mostly devoted to her family and nothing gave her more joy than to be with her children and grandchildren whom she adored. She was happiest when she was surrounded by those she loved.

Elaine was the devoted mother of Adrienne Cummings of Auburn, NH, and her late husband David, and Frank Borriello of Medford. Cherished mother-in-law of Laurie Borriello of Lynnfield. Loving grandmother of Alexandra and Julia Borriello both of Lynnfield, Mary Gugger and her husband David of Auburn, NH, and Nicole Emery and her husband Myles of Danville, NH. Loving great grandmother of Nora and Emma Gugger.

Funeral services will be held from the Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD, Friday, December 17th, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be held on Thursday, from 4 to 8 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
