Charles A. Rodrigues, 60, of Westport MA, formerly of Council Bluffs, IA and Old Town, ME passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at St. Luke's Hospital.
Born in Fall River, he was son of Nancy (Boan) Rodrigues of Westport and the late George Rodrigues, Sr. He was a teacher of Biology and Chemistry at Iowa Western Community College, and took pride in the fact that many of his students went on to become nurses. An active member of the Freemasons, he was part of Cobia Lodge #631 in Council Bluffs as well as the Council Bluffs Chapter #441 Order of the Eastern Star. A volunteer for a number of organizations, he was well known for his kindness and giving spirit.
Including his mother, he is survived by 2 brothers: George Rodrigues, Jr., of Westport and James Rodrigues of Dartmouth; a sister: Nancy S. Rodrigues of Westport; and a nephew: George "Drew" Rodrigues.
Private services were held.
