Madeline A. (Cinquegrano) Dognazzi, age 81, of Mansfield, passed away peacefully, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, November 9, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late Giles Dognazzi, to whom she was wed for fifty-five years at the time of his death on January 27, 2018.

Born in Boston, MA on August 27, 1940, she was a loving daughter of the late Anthony and Anna (McGrath) Cinquegrano.

Madeline grew up and was educated in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood of Boston and attended school for technical training. She had made her home in Mansfield for the over fifty-five years and was a communicant of Saint Mary’s Church in Mansfield.

Mrs. Dognazzi’s family, whom she loved dearly, were truly the focal point of her life. She was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan, enjoyed crocheting, playing cards with her sisters and along with her late husband, loved traveling throughout the United States and abroad. Madeline also had a special place in her heart for animals and will always be remembered for her charitable nature.

She was the devoted and loving mother of Christopher J. Dognazzi of Mansfield, Joseph M. Dognazzi and his wife Lynn of Raynham and the late Gregory E. Dognazzi who recently passed away on April 9, 2021. She was the adoring and cherished grandmother of Cassandra and Christian. She was the dear sister of the late Sandra Jean Noe, Rosemary Rocci, Audrey Cinquegrano, Gerald Cinquegrano, Robert Cinquegrano and David Cinquegrano. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, November 12th from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Mansfield.

Her funeral will begin on Saturday, November 13th at 9:00 A.M. from the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian burial celebrated at 10:00 A.M. in Saint Mary’s Church, 330 Pratt Street (Route 106) Mansfield. Burial will follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Mansfield.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Madeline’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 309 Waverly Oaks Road, Waltham, MA 02452.
