HELMBOLDT, Helen (Connelly), Age 75 of Attleboro, passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021 after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. In 2015, after 25 years, she retired as a bookkeeper for Ethos in Jamaica Plain. Born and raised in Boston, she was the daughter of the late John and Delia Connelly of Galway, Ireland. She is survived by her beloved children John Helmboldt, Christine Aiken and her husband Heath, Kimberly Cardona and her husband Jose; her grandchildren Katelyn Munoz, Michelle Haney, Matthew Cardona, Kevin Cardona, and Brandon Cardona, as well as many step grandchildren; her great-grandchildren Isabella, Alexandria, and Sofia and many step great-grandchildren whom she treated as her own. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home 2055 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY, Monday, November 1st at 9 am, followed by a Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Roslindale at 10 o’clock. Visiting hours Sunday, October 31st from 1-5 pm. Relatives and friends invited. Interment New Calvary Cemetery.
