Mary A. (Antonelli) Gilikson of Manchester passed away on Friday, October 15th. She was 90. Born in Boston, she was the cherished daughter of the late Constantino and Mary (LeBlanc) Antonelli.

Mary loved music, especially from the Big Band Era; you could always hear her singing along to every song. She had an ear when it came to listening to the notes, so much so that she self-taught herself to play the accordion. Mary’s biggest passion was being a mother. She was always there for her children and always put their needs before her own.

Mary was the beloved wife of the late Arthur Gilikson, and the devoted mother of Nicholas Compas, Christopher Compas and his wife Jane of Manchester, NH, Linda Nardella of Dover NH, and Susan Compas of Manchester, NH, and step mother of Marie Rogerson of Carver, MA, Diane Barrows-Ross and her husband Dana of Danvers, MA, and the late Alexander Jr., and Debbie Compas. She was the loving grandma of Nichole, Eric, Alex, Chrisalex, Amanda, Giovanni, Sabrina, Scott, Michael and David. She was the great grandma of Roman, Tianna, Brantley, Eliana, Gio, Novella and a new addition on the way. Mary was the dear sister of the late Domenic, Johnny, Joseph “Dudo”, Angelo, Anthony, Margaret, George, Anna and Alfred. Mary is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Monday, October 25th at 1PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with family from 11 AM through 1PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
