WALSH, Diane Martin of Dedham formerly of Lewiston, ME, suddenly on October 3, 2021. Beloved wife of James J. Walsh. Sister of Sonia Russell and her husband Thomas of Bangor, ME and Ronaldo Martin of Yorktown, VA. Daughter of the late Ronaldo and Muriel (Cote) Martin. Also survived by many in-laws.
Born in Lewiston, ME, she graduated from Lewiston High School and from the University of Maine with a Bachelor of Science Degree.
She was employed as a Systems Analyst for Bostik, Inc in Middleton, MA. She was a superb Bridge player as a member of The American Contract Bridge League, achieving Gold Live Master ranking.
She was a member of the Catholic Alumni Club of Boston and enjoyed hiking and traveling with her friends and family. She enjoyed all aspects of life with her husband Jim.
Visiting hours at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., DEDHAM on Saturday, Oct. 9 from 9:00-10:30am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John Chrysostom Church, West Roxbury at 11:00am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Private interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery West Roxbury.
