Alexis (Boney) Murphy, age 71, of Nahant passed away on Friday, September 24th. Born in Plymouth, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Hugh A. and Amy Marie (MacMillan) Boney. Alexis was employed for many years as a technician in the telecommunications industry.

Alexis was the beloved wife of the late Ronald Murphy, and the devoted mother of Keeley Murphy and his wife Cheryl of Wilmington, and the late Kara Murphy. She was the loving grandmother of Nathaniel and Alexander Murphy, and the dear sister of Hugh Boney and his wife Brenda of Nahant, Amy Callaghan and her husband Robert of Dorchester, and the late Alexander Boney.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 5th at 10:30 AM in Holy Cross Cemetery, 175 Broadway, Malden. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may meet at the cemetery gate before 10:30 AM to join a procession to the grave. Visiting hours have been respectfully omitted.
