Donna (Benjamin) Connell, age 75, of Foxboro, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at the home of her daughter in Norton.
Born in Boston, MA on June 7, 1946, she was a loving daughter of the late Elmira (Runci) Sturm and her husband Frank Sturm and the late Karl Benjamin.
Donna grew up in Boston, until moving to Austria at the age of seven. She later moved back to the Massachusetts in Hingham and was a 1964 graduate of Hingham High School.
A dedicated homemaker to her loving family, they were truly the essence of her life and Donna will live on in their hearts forever.
She is survived by her devoted children: Lori A. George and her husband Thomas of Norton, Ed Connell and his wife Nicole of Attleboro and Rich Connell and his wife Shannon of Norton. She was the treasured grandmother of Troy and Trent George, Amanda and Eddie Connell, Aiden, Kate and Quinn Connell and the great grandmother of Jaxon Connell. She was the dear sister of Frank Sturm of Foxboro and the late Beverly Benjamin. She was the former wife of the late Robert F. Connell and is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Tuesday, October 5th from 10:00-11:00 A.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp Street (Off Route 140, Taunton Avenue) Norton.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. at the conclusion of visitation on Tuesday at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Newland Cemetery in Norton.
